As 2018 comes to a close and we reflect on a year that zoomed by, Partridge Partners has much to be proud of and thankful for. We started 2018 off with preparing to attend the 140th International Trademark Association in Seattle which included some of our gentlemen, Mark Partridge, John Ambrogi, Colin O’Brien, and Daniel Rogna. The event was well attended on May 20th at the Fisher/White Gallery that included an amazing brunch, entertaining conversation, and the gallery’s amazing artwork collection.
Not taking away from the gentlemen but there are two women at the firm who should be recognized at this moment. First, we welcomed Rebecca Burch into our Partridge Partners family earlier this year. Thank you for all the hard work you have done thus far Rebecca and we are thrilled to see your work in the coming year. Secondly, Jordan Leahey, we would like to toot your horn for a moment and point out your accomplishments which include: 2018 – Client Choice Award, 2019 – Super Lawyers Rising Star, 2019 – Leading & Emerging Lawyers. Jordan also attended the ABA Women’s Rainmakers meeting in Sante Fe and the ABA Law Practice Meeting. We are also very proud of your elected office for the Law Practice Division Counsel and lastly but certainly not the least and the most important, congratulations on baby William.
Our gentlemen also had quite a busy year of awards and events. Let’s start off with Daniel Rogna who spoke at the INTA Trademark Administrators Conference in Orlando on September 14th on the Famous Marks Panel which was also attended by John Ambrogi. Partridge Partners gave away some awesome freebies to attendees that included sunglasses and webcam covers to help protect your privacy. Thanks for the great idea John and for receiving the 2019 – Leading & Emerging Lawyers!
Another attorney we would like to thank is Colin O’Brien for organizing Partridge Partners Lunch and Learn: Tax Cuts – Benefits/Pitfalls for IP which was hosted in person and on our new WebEx online meeting program so that those who may not attend in person could still listen to our speakers Susan Fickling-Munge and Corky Kessler. Colin also attended the INTA Leadership Meeting in New Orleans in November and was able to learn and enjoy programs in the birthplace of Jazz.
All of this would not be possible without our managing attorney Mark Partridge who strived us all to dedicate our time and effort into rising to challenges, working harder, looking for new ideas to grow and achieve leadership roles. Mark was invited to share his expertise and speak at the Toronto Film Festival and Harvard Entrepreneurs Health Care Forum. But there’s more. A lot more! He was recognized for the following just this past year: 2018 and 2019 Super Lawyers, 2018 and 2019 WTR1000 National and Illinois Rankings, 2018 and 2019 AV Preeminent Judicial Edition, 2019 Leading & Emerging Lawyer. A big congratulations for also being appointed chair of the AIPLA Data and Privacy Committee!
Quite a bit happened in 2018 but we can’t go on forever. We would like to thank everyone for all the help and support we received this year and hope to continue to work with you this year and look forward to the seeing what the New Year has in store for us all.
