Rebecca’s practice experience has covered a diverse array of matters spanning numerous areas of intellectual property law. From fast-moving investigations and time-sensitive lawsuits enforcing valuable trademarks, to coordinating the long-term development and protection of intellectual property rights, Rebecca’s goal is to always put her clients in a forward-looking position of strength.
With a lifelong love of travel, foreign languages and the creative arts, Rebecca was immediately attracted to the field of trademark law and its connection to design, branding and international business. This interest was cemented by her work as a young attorney enforcing trade dress rights in world-famous luxury handbag designs.
In addition to extensive federal litigation experience, including jury trials, expedited hearings and briefing for a Second Circuit appeal, Rebecca has successfully protected clients’ brands through the coordination of enforcement matters involving cease and desist letters, settlement agreements, domain name disputes, and TTAB proceedings. Rebecca has also counseled clients in the promotion and development of their trademark rights, including through trademark clearance and prosecution, and has worked with U.S. Customs in connection with counterfeit seizures and related inquiries.
In her free time, Rebecca enjoys traveling, independent movies, cooking for friends and family, and playing tennis.
