Colin has over 10 years of experience protecting his clients’ brands and enforcing their rights. Colin has extensive litigation experience and his practice also encompasses traditional areas of transactional matters involving trademarks, copyrights, and UDRP and URS actions. 

Colin has extensive litigation experience in pursing Lanham Act, Copyright, Anti-cybersquatting Consumer Protection Act, Design Patent Infringement and Computer Fraud and Abuse Act actions on behalf clients throughout the United States. Colin has also developed a worldwide network of local counsels to assist his clients in securing rights in foreign jurisdictions.

Colin pursued large numbers of UDRP and URS actions with both the World Intellectual Property Organization and National Arbitration Forum. Colin has also prepared and filed new gTLD applications; and drafted Legal Rights Objections against new gTLDs.

Colin’s practice also encompasses the traditional areas of transactional matters involving trademarks and copyrights including: trademark clearance reviews and investigations, drafting hundreds of international and domestic clearance opinion letters; reviewing FDA regulations to ensure client compliance; the prosecution and maintenance of domestic and foreign trademarks; drafting office action responses.
