Jordan Arnot Leahey Honored as "2017 On the Rise – Top 40 Young Lawyers" by American Bar Association

The American Bar Association (ABA) just named Jordan Arnot Leahey as a “2017 On the Rise – Top 40 Young Lawyer.

Jordan was identified in the ABA’s nationwide call for young lawyers “who exemplify a broad range of high achievement, innovation, leadership, and legal and community service.” The selection committee – consisting of practicing attorneys in private practice and in-house positions – considers the nominee’s professional reputation, experience, skill and character, as well as the relationship between the nominee and nominator.

“We were thrilled to hear about this honor, but at the same time not surprised,” said Mark V.B. Partridge, managing partner at Partridge Partners PC. “Jordan has become an outstanding and highly accomplished lawyer since joining our firm in 2010 and is repeatedly recognized by clients and colleagues for her prompt, responsive service and effective representation.  Her growing professional reputation, client service skills and commitment to the profession are key to her success.”

Jordan’s IP and tech transactions practice spans a broad spectrum of industries, many of which are highly regulated (such as alcoholic beverages, financial services, and healthcare) requiring specialized expertise. She works with clients ranging from Fortune 100 corporations to “starving artists,” skillfully navigating the needs of the most sophisticated in-house counsel and business executives to first-time content creators seeking to protect their rights.

Jordan’s practice is global, working closely with a network of local counsel in over 100 countries to protect and enforce her client’s rights.

With a growing national and global reputation, Jordan has been extensively published in industry and trade publications as well as multiple law review journals. Outside of her law practice, Jordan is actively involved in the community volunteering her time to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society as well as serving on an advisory board for the Smile Train charitable organization, which provides cleft surgeries for underprivileged children worldwide.

Jordan and the rest of Top 40 Young Lawyers will be recognized in the print edition of the August ABA Journal, the print edition of the Young Lawyer Division’s TYL Magazine, and online.
